Fixed issues

Hotfix 2 addresses the following issue:

  • Scheduled jobs are not starting at the scheduled time after an upgrade.

Notes

Hotfix 2 is only applicable for NCM 7.5.0.

Install SolarWinds NCM 7.5.0 Hotfix 2

On the main polling engine:

  1. Stop all Orion services.
  2. Back up the following file:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\SolarWinds.Cirrus.BusinessLayer.dll

  3. Extract the SolarWinds.Cirrus.BusinessLayer.dll file from the Hotfix archive.
  4. Replace the SolarWinds.Cirrus.BusinessLayer.dll file in the following directory:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\

    Replace the SolarWinds.Cirrus.BusinessLayer.dll file only on the main polling engine.

  5. Start the Orion services.

Uninstall SolarWinds NCM 7.5.0 Hotfix 2

  1. Stop all Orion services.
  2. Replace the SolarWinds.Cirrus.BusinessLayer.dll file from the backup in the following directory:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NCM\

  3. Start the Orion services.
