Unknown HTTP traffic to nvd.nist.gov from Orion server

Overview

There is unknown HTTP traffic to nvd.nist.gov from the Orion server firewall:

All NCM versions

Cause

This issue is caused by a firmware vulnerability in NCM.

Resolution

  1. Click Settings > All Settings.
  2. Under Product Specific Settings, click NCM Settings.
  3. Under Advanced, click Firmware Vulnerability Settings.
  4. Adjust the settings for Vulnerability Search, Vulnerability Data Import, and Vulnerability Alerting.
  5. Click Submit.
