Test failed. Connection refused by x.x.x.x

Updated March 13, 2017

Overview

You are getting the Test Failed. Connection Refused by x.x.x.x error when doing a test in Connection Profile under Edit Settings view of an NCM node. When you click Login Details, you will notice that a different Connection Profile is assigned.

Environment

NCM 7.5.x

Cause

This is caused by a corrupted profile.

Resolution

  1. Recreate the Connection Profile (Orion Web Console > SETTINGS > All Settings > NCM Settings > Connection Profiles).
  2. Delete the old (corrupted) Connection Profile.
