Set Connection Profiles as Auto-Detect

Overview

This goes over how to set a connection profile to Auto-Detect and set a node to connection profile to Auto-Determine which profile to use.

Environment

All versions of NCM

Steps

  1. Go to NCM Settings > Connection Profile and then for each profile, edit and check the box for allowing automatic use at the bottom.
  2. Go to Configuration Management and select desire nodes, click on Edit Properties, scroll to the bottom for Connection Profile, check the box and then under Global Connection Profile, select Auto Detect.
