Problem with variables in NCM filenames

Overview

You may find errors when using the $[time] variable in a filename.

Environment

NCM 7.5

Detail

Using the time variable introduces a : into the file name and gives an error:

The given path's format is not supported.

The current file path macro used:

C:\SRV\DATA\SolarWinds\NCM\Config-Report\${AgentIP}-${Date}-${Time}.txt which causes a file name like C:\SRV\DATA\SolarWinds\NCM\Config-Report\172.16.45.254-2-10-2017-14:59.txt

 

Instead, use something like this:

D:\SRV\DATA\SolarWinds\NCM\Config-Report\${AgentIP}-${Date}- ${HOUR}-${MINUTE}.txt

 

This will allow excluding the ‘:’ character from file path, which is not allowed to use in filename.
