Environment

All NCM versions

Cause

#1 There is no config is been downloaded from the devices

#2 There is no  baseline config set for the devices to be compared  

Resolution

You must need to download at least one Start & Running config from the devices & set one configuration as baseline only then  the correct results within this  pie chart will be compared against the baseline . 

 

Step # 1 

  1. On the Web Console, go to Configs > Jobs.
  2. Select Nightly Config Backup and click Edit.
  3. On the Nightly Config Backup edit page, click Next to go to the Add Job Specific Details tab.
  4. Verify that the following are selected:
    • Running
    • Startup
  5. Click Next and then click Finish.
  6. Go back to Configs > Jobs.
  7. Select Nightly Config Backup and click Start Job. 

 

Step #2 

Set basline configuration for your network through NCM Job  

  1. On the Web Console, go to Configs > Jobs. > Create New Job > "Baseline" > Next >  Select "Baseline Entire Network" > Complete the Job 

         

Once Done . Leave the system UP and running for Next hour 

The chart should now display the correct percentages.
