How to create an NCM Purge Old Configs from Database job

Overview

This article shows how to create an NCM "Purge Old Configs from Database" job.

Environment

  • All NCM versions

Resolution

  1.  Log in to the Orion Web Console as Administrator.
  2.  Go to Configs > Jobs.
  3.  Click Create New Job.
  4.  Select Purge Old Configs from Database from the Job Type drop-down list.
  5.  Set the schedule for the job.
  6.  Select the nodes to be covered by the job.
  7.  Follow the prompts until you reach the window for adding job-specific details and select the purge action for your environment.
  8. Save Job and make sure it is enabled.
