Overview

The following error is displayed when running inventory reports or manual inventory:

Entity NCM.Interfaces does not exist in database. Please, perform an inventory for the added nodes

Environment

All NCM versions

Cause 

The NCM_Interfaces database table is missing or there is a duplicate table in the Orion database.

Resolution

Perform any of the following resolutions:

  • If the table is missing, run the configuration wizard.
  • Contact your database administrator and request to drop or remove the duplicated table, and then run the configuration wizard.
