Enable Baseline Config in bulk

Overview

This article describes how to set Baseline Configs on all NCM nodes in bulk.

Environment

NCM v7.4  and later

Steps

In NCM 7.8 and earlier

  1. Log in to the Web Console.
  2. Click My Dashboards > Configs > Jobs.
  3. Click Create New Job.
  4. Enter a job name.
  5. Under Job Type, select Baseline Entire Network.
  6. Provide the desired setup for Scheduled Type if Basic or Advanced, then click Next.
  7. Under Choose Nodes, click Next.
  8. Under Enter Notification Details, provide the preferred settings then click Next.
  9. Under Add Job Specific Details, select Set the Network Baseline to the last Config downloaded from each Node then click Next.

  10. Review the summary and click Finish.

In NCM 7.9 and later

  1. Log in to the Web Console.
  2. Click My Dashboards > Network Configuration > Configuration Management.
  3. Use the Baseline Management tab to assign baselines to multiple devices. For more information, see Establish baselines as a comparison point for config changes.
