The following error occurs while downloading a configuration from a device:

Download config from node [unrecognized GUID format]


All NCM versions


The error is caused by a custom property that was manually created and named as NCMNodeID.

This name (NCMNodeID) is a restricted word, used by NCM within the Nodes table, and cannot be used as custom property.


Delete any custom properties named as NCMNodeID.
