Create an NCM report that shows the licensed nodes

Overview

This article describes how to create a report that shows licensed nodes against non-licensed nodes in NCM.

Environment

NCM 7.5.0 and later

Steps

  1. Go to Reports > All Reports > Manage Reports.
  2. Click Create New Reports.
  3. Select Custom Table.
  4. Under the Selection Method menu, click Advance Database Query (SQL, SWQL).
  5. Select SQL under Query Type option.
  6. Click Preview Results to see if the query works.
  7. Then click ADD TO LAYOUT.
  8. Under Table Layout page, click Add Column.
  9. Select SysName, IP_Address and Status option.
  10. Click ADD COLUMN.
  11. Click SUBMIT.
  12. Enter the report title and proceed with your preferred settings to finish.
  13. Select the newly-created report and click VIEW REPORT.
