Clear out the Transfer Queue when stuck

This article describes the issue when the transfer queue in NCM gets stuck and does not clear out it is used.


All versions of NCM


This issue occurs when there are old transfer tasks in the queue that are stuck or the request is not getting through.


  1. Log in to the Orion server hosting NCM.
  2. Run Database Manager (Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features > Database Manager).
  3. Add Default Server
  4. Expand NetPerfMon (Orion database)
  5. Right-click on table NCM_TransferQueue and select Query Table.
  6. Overwrite query with below one:
    TRUNCATE TABLE NCM_TransferQueue​
  7. Click Execute Query.
