Overview

This article corrects an issue where white spaces/lines appear after downloading the configuration change report from Cisco ASA.

It is also confirmed that there are spaces/lines in the config on the actual device even when downloaded through TFTP. As a result, NCM counts these spaces.

 

 

Environment

NCM 7.5 and later

Cause 

The node NCM properties uses generic template for Cisco. 

Resolution

Change the device template to Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance.
