Changing the NCM Connection Profile Settings for Multiple Nodes

Table of contents

Updated March 11th, 2016

Overview

If you need to make the same changes to the NCM connection profile for multiple nodes, you don't have to edit each one individually. You can modify multiple nodes at once.

Environment

  • NCM, all supported versions

Steps

  1. Choose Settings > Manage Nodes.
  2. (Optional) Choose a Group By option to locate the nodes.
  3. Select the nodes you want to modify.
  4. Click Edit Properties.
  5. On the Edit Properties page, click Connection Profile.
  6. Edit the profile as required.
  7. Click Submit to save.

Note: Make sure that the nodes you are modifying are using the correct profile to avoid misconfiguration for nodes having different profiles.

Note 2: Creating, modifying, or deleting a profile does not generate an event in the events section nor is it reported as a change under the Audit log.
