Overview

Custom enable command

By default program logic send 'enable' + {defined enable level} command when enable mode is required. However we may want to send custom enable command. To do this, just specify it in device template:
<Command Name="EnableCommand" Value="custom enable command"/>

Environment

All NCM versions

Steps

  1. Depending on the version of NCM follow the relevant steps to modify a template. For instructions, refer to the NCM Administrator Guide.
  2. Use the following line to configure command EnableCommand and adjust value to actual command which shall be submitted while working with device (you may need to refer to device's manual or vendor's resources):

    <Command Name="EnableCommand" Value="login"/>
