How to turn off line numbers in a downloaded configuration file

Overview

When you download configuration details to a file, by default every line is prepended with a line number. If you need to copy a section of the configuration, the line numbers are copied as well.

Complete the steps below to download the configuration without line numbers.

Environment

  • NCM any version

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Go to CONFIGS and select any configuration by doing either of the following:
    • Go to Node Details > Configs and click on any config.
    • Expand the Nodes Tree and click on any config.
  3. To turn off the line numbers that are highlighted the following figure, click Edit.

  4. Deselect the Line Numbers option.

  5. Click Submit.
