Updated: August 5, 2016

Overview

This article goes over how to configure NCM jobs to run more frequently.

Environment

NCM 7.4.0 and later

Steps

The best way to get NCM Jobs to run more frequently such as every few minutes or hours is using the "Schedule Type: Advanced".

This uses CRON Expressions, see Create a CRON Expression.

To create a Job to run for example every 30 minutes, in the Minutes field enter */30 and the rest of the fields with *.

To create a job to run every 6 hours for example, in the Minutes field enter 00, then in the Hours field enter 00, 06, 12, 18, this covers 12AM, 6AM, 12PM and 6PM hours to run the job, and afterwards the rest of the fields, enter in *.
