Windows authentication dialog prevents users to log back using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox

Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the issue when the Windows Authentication dialog appears and prevents users to log back when using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. 

Environment

All NTA versions using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer

Resolution

Use one of the following workarounds:

  • Turn off Windows Authentication for the website. For more details, see article on Windows Authentication from the Microsoft website. 
  • Open the Orion Web Console in a different browser, such as Chrome.
