Overview

This article discusses expected results on port 80 and 443 traffic in the Top XX Application charts.

Environment

All NTA versions

Detail

If you are expecting the HTTP/HTTPS to break out into the application, this is only possible with NBAR on Cisco devices and on NTA 4.2.

Versions 4.1.2 and earlier only offer information in Settings > NTA Settingss > Application and Service Ports > Add Application.

If this application is only using port 80 or 443, then it will all be bundled under HTTP protocol over TLS/SSL or World Wide Web Traffic.
