Upgrade error in CW - Database Configuration Failed: Error while executing script: Invalid Object Name ’NetflowDefaultAppPorts’

Overview

This article describes the issue about upgrade error in CW: 

Database Configuration Failed:  Error while executing script: Invalid Object Name ’NetflowDefaultAppPorts’

 

Environment

  • NPM 11.5.2
  • NTA 4.1.0

 

Cause 

  • Upgrade to NTA 4.1.0 to NTA 4.1.2 was successful on Main Poller.
  • Upgrade to NTA 4.1.0 to NTA 4.1.2 was successful on some Additional Pollers.
    • Cause was user ran Config Wizard multiple times on many Additional pollers.


Errors seen:

Database Configuration Failed:
Error while executing script: Invalid Object Name ’NetflowDefaultAppPorts’

Database Configuration Failed:
Cound not find stored procedure ‘swsp_DropRoutineIfExists’

Resolution

Re-run Config Wizard and it will complete without error.

Note: Only run one CW ata time to prevent this.
