Overview

This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the issue when the FSDB installation could not continue because you are unable to connect from the FSDB Server to the SQL Server. 

Environment

  • All NTA versions 
  • New Windows Server installation for FSDB

Cause 

The issue is caused by the TCP/IP Connections disabled on SQL server, Antivirus or Firewall blocking connection.

Resolution

  • Enable TCP IP in SQL Server Configuration for the IP address of FSDB Server.
  • Check for Antivirus or Firewall blocking connection.
