The Netflow Service will not start on an Additional Polling Engine

The Netflow Service will not start on an Additional Polling Engine. When this issue occurs, the following error displays in the NTA.BusinessLayer.log file:

XXXX-XX-XX XX:XX:XX,XXX [6] ERROR SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.Service.NetFlowService - Error while starting service.
System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'SolarWinds.Netflow.Processing.AppContext' threw an exception. ---> System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'SolarWinds.Orion.Common.SWPerfMonSession' from assembly 'SolarWinds.Orion.Common, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=316e86daa515e407'.

NTA is unable to create the needed performance counters to start the service.


Rebuild the performance counters and restart the service.
