Overview

After troubleshooting using Wireshark packet capture, the NTA server is not receiving NetFlow from the SonicWALL NSA 3500 despite appearing in the queue and in the sent NetFlow V5 statistics in the AppFlow / Flow Reporting page.

Environment

All Orion environments with NTA and SonicWALL NSA 3500

Cause 

This occurs when the Source IP To Use For Collector On a VPN tunnel settings contains an IP address when no VPN is in use.

Resolution

Update the SonicWALL device and delete the value from the Source IP To Use For Collector On a VPN tunnel field.
