  • NTA does not accept flow.
  • The netstat command shows the collections port as closed.
  •  The service is running.

NTA version 4.1

The issue is caused by a corrupted Fastbit database.

  1. On the Fastbit Server, start the NTA Flow Storage Configurator program:
Start > All Program > SolarWinds Orion > Netflow Traffic Analyzer > NTA Flow Storage Configurator.
  2. Under the "NTA Flow Storage Database data file path (local NTSF drive), find that folder location in file explorer and rename it.
  3. Click NTA Flow Storage Configurator. It should recreate the folder you just renamed and the Netflow service should run.
  4. Restart the Netflow service on the main NPM server.
