Overview

NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)  is not showing any graphs or showing "No Data Available"

Environment

  • NTA 4.1.1

Steps

  1. Verify if this is affecting some or all resources
  2. If this only affects some devices verify Netflow is being received by using Wireshark
  3. If this is affecting all devices
  4. Look for errors in the Information v2 service logs
  5. Look for errors in the Orion Web logs
  6. Verify the Netflow service can connect to the Netflow Flow Storage service.  If not connecting ran the SolarWinds.Netflow.FastBit.Configurator.exe to reestablish the connection
  7. Granted the servername\<athenticated users> and <network service> full rights to the following folder and all sub dirs.
    “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Crypto” folder.
    “C:\Windows\Temp\SolarWinds”
    “C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds”
    “C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds”
  8. Run C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\OrionPermissionChecker.exe --> click on CHECK and then after it completes click on REPAIR
