Table of contents

Updated August 31, 2016

Overview

This article provides an explanation of the following event:

NetFlow Database Maintenance : Deleted x expired endpoints in x.xx seconds.

Environment

All NTA versions

Detail

This is just an informational event. It just means that NTA database maintenance is removing details about endpoints (ip address, hostname, and others) from the database for which there is no longer any Flow data. This is due to the Flow data being cleared by maintenance i.e. No flows referring to these endpoints within the retention period (last 30 days by default).
