Overview

This article describes the issue when you receive the following NTA server error in resources for the summary page:

You do not have permissions to view this Node.

Environment

NTA version 3.11

Cause

This is due to limitations that are set on the account they are used to log in having access to certain groups of nodes. The NTA summary page shows all nodes that are being monitored. However, there are some nodes that are not part of the groups that they have accessed to.

Resolution

  1. Check the account for limitations.
  2. Log in to the account and test the nodes that have access to make sure everything expands without a server error.
  3. Test the Netflow Summary page.
  4. Validate by checking the OrionWeb Log to find a permissions errors and nodeID.
