Updated December 5, 2016

Overview

The following message appears on the NTA summary page in the Last 25 Traffic Analyzer Event:

NTA received a packet indicating that NetFlow data export on device x.x.x.x is not enabled. If you cannot see NetFlow data from the device in NTA, make sure the device is configured to export NetFlow

Environment

All NTA versions

Cause

This is a device issue. The device is sending flows that have both the input interface index and output interface index numbers set to 0.

Resolution

Confirm via Wireshark what input and output interfaces index numbers are in the flows. If they are both 0, refer to your  vendor.
