NTA Top XXX Conversations chart not displaying data

Overview

This article describes the issue when NTA is working but the TOP XXX Conversations is displaying no data.

Environment

All versions of NTA

Cause 

This issue occurs when the chart has been edited and a time filter has been applied. The chart displays no data as the time  frame filter is trying to select data that has been purged from the database due to the retention settings.

 

Resolution

  1. On the Orion Web Console, select the Edit for the chart.

  1. Under the Time period option, select use time period form current view.

The chart will now populate with the data select for the default page view.
