Overview

This article provides brief information and steps on how to use NetFlow Flow Navigator.

The Flow Navigator allows you to create your own custom NetFlow views.

Using the Flow Navigator, you can apply filters on all monitored objects (summary filtered views) or you can specify objects that you want to filter further (detail filtered views).

Note: All views filtered by a node display only ingress or egress data in order to maintain the current performance level. If you select the Both option, the default setting for the view will be applied instead.

The following sections provide specific information to aid the configuration of the following custom filtered traffic views using the Flow Navigator:

Steps

Go to NTA Summary page or NTA navigation page for filtering requirements.

There are many filters available in order to customize your current view. You can use each view as required.

Using Flow Navigator to filter specific Node traffic:

Click the device you intend to filter.

Flow Navigator will automatically apply the filter for the specific node. You can expand your Flow Navigator and use the other available filters for your needs to just see some specific information.

Using Flow Navigator to filter specific Interface traffic:

Expand the device, and then select the interface you intend to filter.

Flow Navigator will automatically apply the filter for the specific node interface. You can expand your Flow Navitor and use the other available filters for your needs to just see some specific information.

Using Flow Navigator to create saved views:

You can use the Save Filtered View to Menu Bar option to save your filtered view.

Print to a PDF

Once you are done with filtering, you can use the Print feature on your browser to save your report as a PDF. (This requires a PDF driver.)  For example:

Using Flow Navigator to export graphs in NTA scheduled reports:

Once you are done using the filters, view the URL to create your NTA reports with Report Scheduler.
