NetFlow service is crashing after upgrading from 4.2.2 RC1 to 4.2.2 RC2

Overview

The NetFlow service crashes and restarts after upgrading from 4.2.2 RC1 to 4.2.2 RC2.

Environment

NTA 4.2.2 RC1 to 4.2.2 RC2

Resolution

  1. Stop all Orion services.
  2. Uninstall NTA.
    Note: If the Configuration Wizard displays, cancel it.
  3. Delete the following directory if it still exists:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowTrafficAnalysis still exists, delete it.

   4. Run the NTA 4.2.2 RC2 installer again and complete the Configuration Wizard.
