NTA all traffic showing up as Unmonitored

Overview

This article describes the issue when in NTA top applications, all traffic is showing as unmonitored.

Environment

All versions of NTA

Cause 

This issue occurs when the applications are missing from the database.

Resolution

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Solarwinds Orion > Advanced Features.

  2. Navigato to Database Manager > Add Default Server> and expand the NPM Database (default )NetPerfmon.

  3. Right-click Database, and then choose New Query. 

  4. Using these commands, run each line separately:

    Drop Table NetflowApps

   Drop Table NetFlowAppPorts

   5. Run the Configuration Wizard.

   6. Select database and complete the wizard.

   7. Add all recommended ports by going to NTA Settings > Application and Service Ports > select Monitor Recommended      Ports buttons to populate the table.
