NTA 4.4 enables OLTP on the database

Table of contents

Updated January 15, 2019

Overview

NTA 4.4 enables the Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) functionality on the database.

Environment

  • NTA 4.4

Detail

If you have installed or upgraded to NTA 4.4, the Configuration wizard automatically enables OLTP within the Microsoft SQL server. This doesn't happen when you upgrade to NTA 4.5 or install NTA 4.5 fresh.

OLTP cannot be disabled. Using Configuration wizard, you can configure a new database instead of the existing one with OLTP enabled. For more information, see Configure Orion Platform products to use a new database.
