Interface speed of Cisco ASA devices are missing in NTA charts

Updated April 5, 2018

Interface speed data of Cisco ASA interfaces are missing in the NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) charts.

All NTA versions

During an SNMP polling of Cisco ASA interfaces, the logical VLANs on these interfaces were not assigned a bandwidth. The interface speed and bandwidth are not properly configured in NPM also, hence they are set to 0.

  1. In the Orion Web Console, click Settings > All Settings.
  2. Under Node & Group Management, click Manage Nodes.
  3. Expand the node's interfaces.
  4. Select the interfaces, and then click Edit Properties.

You can select multiple interfaces at one time and assign the bandwidth.

  5. Enable the Custom Bandwidth option in the Bandwidth section.
  6. Fill in values for Transmit and Receive bandwidths.
  7.  Click Submit.
