Environment

NTA 4.0 - 4.X.X

Cause

This issue occurs when NTA Flow Storage is about to reach full capacity or when an Antivirus application is scanning the flow storage folder and temp directory.

Resolution

  1. Check that the flow storage directory on the flow storage server has enough space.
  2. Verify that the built-in Network Service Account has read and write access to the location of the NTA Flow Storage Database.
  3. Check if any antivirus application is turned on and actively scanning flow storage directories.
  4. Verify the directories that need to be excluded from antivirus protection. Refer to What files and directories should I exclude from antivirus protection to optimize performance and to ensure adequate file access for Orion products?
  5. Run NTA storage Configurator on the Orion NTA storage server.

NOTE: Make sure the SQL information, and User ID, and Password are correct
