Determine the NTA flows per second

Overview

This article describes how to determine the NTA flows per second that are received by the NTA collector.

All NTA versions

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion server, and then open Windows Performance Monitor (© 2013 VMware, Inc., available at https://technet.microsoft.com/, obtained on June 29, 2017.) on the server.
  2. Click the green + button to add a counter.
  3. Scroll down and click SolarWinds NetFow to expand. 
  4. Find Netflow .. Flows received per second. Select all the flow types that apply to your environment, and then click Add to display the selected counter on the graph.
  5. Select the graphing option, and then select Report.

     

This should give you a real-time count of the received NetFlow packets.
