Cisco 3560X/3750X not exporting flows to NTA

Table of contents

Updated April 3, 2018

Overview

Standard 3750 and 3560 switches do not support NetFlow. The 3750-X and 3560-X L3 switches only support NetFlow if they have the C3KX-SM-10G Service module. In this case, the only option is using Flexible NetFlow.

Detail

To find out what service module you have in your device, and to determine the proper method for flow collection, follow the steps below:

  1. Log on to the device.
  2. Execute the show inventory command.
  3. If the C3KX-SM-10G Service module is not present, the device cannot export NetFlow.

For more information about device configuration, see Device Configuration Examples in the NTA Administrator Guide.
