Interface speed of Cisco ASA devices are missing in NTA charts

Table of contents

Issue:

Interface speed data of Cisco ASA interfaces are missing in the Netflow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) charts.

Cause:

During an SNMP polling of Cisco ASA interfaces, the logical vlans on these interfaces were not assigned a bandwidth. The interface speed and bandwidth are not properly configured in NPM also, hence they are set to 0.

Resolution:

1. Click Web Console > Settings > Node & Group Management > Manage Nodes.

2. Click on the  to expand the node's interfaces.

3. Select the interfaces, and then click Edit Properties.

Note: You can select multiple interfaces at one time and assign the bandwidth.

4. Enable the Custom Bandwidth option on Bandwidth section. Fill in values for Transmit and Receive bandwidths.

Applies to: All NTA versions.
