This article describes the issue when you try to create an application with a large port range, 1-65000 for example, the Add New Application window may not respond or throw an error. The application is not created successfully even after following the steps.   


NTA version 4.1.2 and earlier


This is a limitation of NTA.  




Unfortunately, there are no procedures that can guarantee a resolution at this time. In some cases, creating a smaller port range and gradually increasing the port range may be fix the issue.
