Create an NTA Chart Report using the Ingress InterfaceID and ToS Name for specific Types of Service Data

Overview

This article will explain how to setup a report for Types of Services in NTA using a specific interface ID and selecting a specific ToS. 

Environment

  • NPM 11 and later
  • NTA 4.1.0 and later

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Manage Reports > Create New Report.
  2. Select Custom Chart.
    It is important that your logic is setup correct.
    For Types of Service reports, make sure "Netflow Flow history" is what you are reporting on.
    Make sure the correct fields are selected so the data can be returned. The fields have to make sense for the type of data you are trying to pull for the report.
    Here is how the report would be setup for this example:
  3. This is how the Chart settings could be setup and this can be changed depending on your prefered output.

  4. After you have given a name to the report, click Next to see the preview:

  5. Move through the rest of the wizard by clicking Next and set any custom settings for the report according to your preference.
