Slow or crashing RDP connections


This article provides brief information and steps to resolve the issue when opening an RDP connection, the application experiences latency or crashing.


Mobile Admin version 8.1


The issue is caused when the resolution is set too high for your device to handle.


Change the resolution to a smaller setting.

  1. Select your RDP connection.
  2. Open the connection settings.
  3. Tap the screen settings.
  4. Modify the Resolution setting.
  5. If you connect using a 3G connection, tap Advanced and modify the screen settings there.
  6. Save your connection.
