Overview

Will the LEM agent work with just the agent side of the ports opened 37890-37892 on the firewall? Without having to open 37893 - 37896?

Environment

LEM 6.2

Detail

For the agent to work correctly, ports for both sides of the communication must be open. This is the requirement for the agents to be able to establish a secure connection to the LEM manager.

So you would need outbound 37890-37892 Agent to Manager, and inbound 37893 - 37896 Manager to Agent ports to be allowed through firewalls for the Agent to successfully send logs to LEM.

Please see the Solarwinds Port Requirements documentation for further details.
