Overview

This article details the effect of LEM upgrades on settings.

Environment

All LEM versions

Detail

When the LEM is upgraded, it keeps:

  • Rules
  • Stored events
  • User Settings
  • Users
  • Filters
  • Non Default Groups
  • Default groups may be overwritten. This is why SolarWinds recommends to clone groups and modify the clone rather than using the default group.
