Overview

This article discusses the limitations in using SNMP to monitor LEM's status, disk usage, or other OID with Orion or some other SNMP collector.

Environment

  • All LEM versions
  • SNMP collector or Orion

Detail

LEM does not currently support SNMP to monitor LEM. LEM can be used to send SNMP trap alerts to other devices when rules fire, but it does not support sending any health or status updates over SNMP.
