Overview

This article describes IIS server having several different sites with their own log files and how you read them on the same server.

Environment

  • All versions of LEM
  • IIS server with multiple sites

Steps

LEM is capable of reading the logs from multiple IIS sites from the same agent. Each individual site will require its own IIS connector configured in a similar manner as the first connector for the primary site.

For each additional site, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Manage > Nodes, click the gear icon of the IIS server in your list, and go to Connectors.
  2. Search for IIS and create an additional connector that look exactly like the current one (the one with the green icon).

Note: The Log File field must be updated to reflect the new site's folder path. It will also require a unique Alias.

   3.  Save and start the connector.
