LEM reports console prompts error: Task Scheduler did not start

 

Overview

When trying to start LEM reports console and seeing error: Task Scheduler did not start.

 

Environment

  • LEM version 6.2

 

Cause 

The reports console was not started as an administrator.

Resolution

If you are getting Task Scheduler did not start, pop-up message when attempting to start the LEM Reports console:

 

  1. Close the reports console.
  2. Go to Reports > right click > run as Administrator.

After performing these steps, the error should not appear again. Make sure that you are always starting the reports console with: Run as Administrator.
