Enable rules from the Rules grid or directly from the Rules Creation screen.

You can enable two or more rules at the same time by selecting the rules in the grid and clicking File:Success_Center/New_Articles/LEMUserGuide_MT/0B0/0L0/Button-Plus-Black_15x14.png in the Rules toolbar. However, this command acts as a toggle on each selected rule. For example, if one rule is disabled and another is enabled, performing this command on both rules at the same time inverts the settings of both rules. As a result, the first rule is enabled and the second rule is disabled. When you perform this command on multiple rules, select rules that are in the same state: Enabled or Disabled.

Enable rules from the Rules grid

  1. Open the Build > Rules view.
  2. In the Rule Categories & Tags pane, maximize the category that contains the rules you want to enable.
  3. In the Rules grid, select the rule (or rules) you want to enable.
  4. To enable a single rule, click File:Success_Center/New_Articles/LEMUserGuide_MT/0B0/0L0/Button-Gear_18x15.png next to the rule and select Enable. To enable multiple rules, click File:Success_Center/New_Articles/LEMUserGuide_MT/0B0/0L0/Button-Gear(Gray)_18x15.png in the Rules toolbar and select Enable.

The Enabled File:Success_Center/New_Articles/LEMUserGuide_MT/0B0/0L0/Icon-Enabled_14x14.png icons for each selected rule become active, indicating the rules are enabled.

  5. Click Activate Rules in the Rules toolbar.

    The rule is activated.
