Exporting nDepth search results to PDF

You can export the results of your nDepth search to a printable report and save the report as a PDF file. PDF reports are limited to 25,000 events or log messages. If you need a larger report, use the Result Details view to export your search results to a spreadsheet in CSV format.

  1. Perform an nDepth search to collect the information you need for your report.
  2. Click File:Success_Center/Reusable_content_-_InfoDev/LEMUserGuide_MT/090/0N0/Button-Gear(Gray)_14x11.png on the nDepth toolbar and select Export.
  3. Customize your report in the nDepth Export window.
    1. Preview your search results in the default format.
    2. Add a blank report page (if required)
    3. Change your page orientation to Portrait or Landscape as required.
    4. Click Items and open a list of report items to drag into your report body.
    5. Click Saved Layouts to open a list of options related to saving and applying report layouts.
    6. Hover over report pages and other elements (such as titles, graphs, and text) to access additional configuration options.
    7. Drag charts and graphs to rearrange them in the report body, if required.
  4. Click Export to PDF to export the report in the Preview pane.
  5. Select a destination and file name for your report, and then click Save.
