Rules in LEM

Use the Build > Rules view to create, configure, and manage your rules. Rules monitor and respond to event traffic and automatically notify or respond to security events in real time, whether you are monitoring the console or not. When an event (or a series of events) meets a rule condition, the rule automatically prompts the manager to take action, such as notifying the appropriate users or performing an active response (such as blocking the IP address or stopping a particular process).

The Console ships with a set of pre-configured rules to get you started. You can also use the Rule Creation connector to create customer rules and variations of any existing rule you choose.
