LEM Reports Console and Sophos Enterprise Console

Overview

This article describes a known issue where the LEM Reports Console won't run reports on a system with Sophos Enterprise Console also installed. 

 

In this scenario the crystaljrc.log log (located in "%ProgramFiles%\SolarWinds Log and Event Manager Reports" by default) shows errors such as:

13 Dec 2941 12:05:12 [ORBacus:ThreadPerRequest:Dispatcher] FATAL com.crystaldecisions.data.jdbc - Return DbErr_TableNotFound in DbFetchTableInfoEx()
13 Dec 2941 12:05:12 [ORBacus:ThreadPerRequest:Dispatcher] FATAL com.crystaldecisions.data.javaserver - Return error value in dispatcher's DbFetchTableInfoEx().  The error code is: 21

 

Environment

LEM version 6.2.1

Cause

There is a conflict in the Sophos reporting components and LEM Reporting components.

Resolution

This conflict can be resolved by installing each on separate devices.
